Year after year we find the same news, that whales become stranded on beaches and most die. Yesterday
Spirits Bay beach in New Zealand, 25 pilot whales have died and 49 others are still stranded on the beach. New Zealand is the route the whales are to go to Antarctica in search of more water cold. It is not known because some whales end up on the beaches, scientists say they are probably the sonar from ships so the appeal, the case is that in the month of August, another 58 whales were trapped and could only be redeemed in September.
in 2009 killed 126 whales that could not be rescued.
Currently a group of volunteers are trying to refloat the beached whales and call for more help to care for them and not suffocation.
