Set in Moscow today, the history of the Day Watch revolves around the conflict and balance that have maintained the forces of light and darkness as a result of a truce established since the Middle Ages between the two opposing sides. But this ancient war between the forces of Light and Darkness is about to reach a tragic outcome. Each side has won for itself a powerful Great Other, the clash between the two is inevitable, and Anton Gorodetsky guess becomes involved once again in the midst of this conflict. On one side is Anton's son, Egor, who has joined the ranks of Darkness, while Svetlana, of which Anton is in love, represents the hope of the Light. But this is only the beginning of his troubles: Anton has to take the flight when he was accused of murder. Things are getting worse and only the ancient Chalk of Fate can get the hook. Only one small problem: the magical Chalk was lost hundreds of years ago ...
